,Chemical Name: Potassium Carbonate
,Molecular Formula: K2CO3
,Molecular Weight: 138.21
,CAS: 584-08-7
,Character: It is anhydrous or contains 1.5 hydrates. Anhydrous form occurs as white, granular powder and hydrated form occurs as white, translucent crystal or granule. It’s odorless and smells alkali. I air, it’s very deliquescent. It’s freely soluble in water and aqueous solution is alkaline. It’s insoluble in ethanol or ether.
,Usage: It is used as pH regulator, nutrient, processing aid and spice. When added into noodle and wonton processing properly, it could endow the product with unique flavor, color and resilience.
,Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
,Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
