🟩 1. Source & Production
Corn Protein is extracted from high-quality non-GMO yellow corn during the wet milling process, as a by-product of starch or syrup production. The resulting Corn Gluten Meal is then dried and milled into a fine, free-flowing yellow powder with high protein content.
🟩 2. Nutritional Highlights
Corn Protein typically contains 60%–70% crude protein, rich in methionine, leucine, and zeaxanthin. It is an excellent source of energy and amino acids for animal nutrition, with good digestibility and bioavailability.
🟩 3. Functional Properties
It offers high protein density, natural pigmentation (due to xanthophylls), and binding capacity, making it valuable in feed formulations. Corn protein also improves feed palatability and promotes healthy growth in poultry and aquatic species.
🟩 4. Applications
Animal Feed: Widely used in poultry, swine, cattle, and aquafeed formulations.
Pet Food: Acts as a protein enhancer and natural coloring agent.
Fermentation & Industrial Use: May serve as a nitrogen source in fermentation media and industrial fermentation processes.
🟩 5. Safety & Certifications
Non-GMO, free from antibiotics and hormones. Our Corn Protein complies with international feed-grade standards and is certified under ISO, GMP+, HACCP, and FAMI-QS. Custom specifications (e.g., protein %, moisture, mesh size) are available on request.
